There were early morning traffic woes on the Hume Freeway in Lalor after a nasty two-car collision, with a woman being rushed to hospital.

A woman in her 30s has been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in Lalor on Monday morning
Emergency services were called to the Hume Freeway on-ramp near Cooper St at 8am.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the woman was taken to the Northern Hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses said the freeway was “blocked with traffic”.
“It’s all clear now, but it was heavily blocked this morning,” one person said.
