Pallas defends state’s commitment to China

Tim Pallas has defended the state’s commitment to joint Chinese initiatives as the relationship between China and Australia continues to sour. The Victorian Treasurer also had a grim warning on the “substantial economic trauma” that lies ahead.

Man busted breaching lockdown laws with escort

Another 26 fines have been issued to Victorians not complying with social distancing laws, while the state government has frozen car registration fees at current levels amid the coronavirus economic fallout. It comes as 11 out of 17 new cases are linked to an outbreak at Cedar Meats.
