Kaitlyn Smith is a journalist at the Herald Sun dedicated to covering general news. She has worked in the industry for the past five years, first cutting her teeth as a regional journalist at The Morning Bulletin in Rockhampton, reporting on breaking news, crime and community issues. She later joined the newsroom at The Queensland Times in Ipswich and finally the Gold Coast Bulletin before returning to her home in Victoria.
