Festivals may go ahead with one important change

Popular music festivals such as Falls and Laneway are planning to go ahead this year, but with one big change to the way they run. This comes as a promoter has admitted if the gigs don’t go ahead, the artists won’t get paid.

Festivals may go ahead with homegrown line ups

Popular music festivals Laneway and Falls Festivals are planning all-Australian line-ups if they’re allowed to be staged once the Government start lifting restrictions, but a promoter admits artist contracts have changed.

New Sunday night music show launches

There’ll be shades of the ever-popular Countdown program when a new live music show launches this Sunday, with a giant of the Aussie music industry at the helm and acts such as James Reyne, G-Flip and Birds of Tokyo taking centre stage.
