The Masked Singer finale to be filmed in three locations after on-set coronavirus outbreak
When a major coronavirus outbreak saw 17 cast and crew members infected with COVID-19, The Masked Singer was immediately forced into shutdown. But two weeks later, the show is very much going on — despite Melbourne still being in the grip of stage four restrictions.

The Masked Singer finale is being filmed in Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand on Tuesday after an on-set coronavirus outbreak sent the show into shutdown.
It comes after two weeks of quarantine for host Osher Gunsberg, panellists Dave Hughes, Dannii Minogue, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson and three mystery finalists who have now all tested negative.
Seventeen people connected to the show being filmed in the Docklands tested positive after seven dancers originally contracted the virus.
“Network 10 can confirm that Jackie O, Osher Gunsberg and other Sydney based crew members from The Masked Singer production have returned to New South Wales,’’ a Network 10 spokesman said.
“Network 10 has complied with all directions given by the Victorian and New South Wales health departments.”
Carlson is currently in quarantine in New Zealand and will join the show via video link.
Filming with the entire cast has already taken place.
Frill necked lizard, Queen and Bushranger are in the finale.
