The Bachelor Locky Gilbert says he’ll find trouble, but he’s also found true love with Irena Srbinovska
Locky Gilbert has brushed off the latest speculation about his love life to finally declare he is “happier than ever” with Melbourne nurse Irena Srbinovska. Here’s how The Bachelor finale played out.

Locky Gilbert says he will inevitably get in trouble “here or there”, but The Bachelor has declared his love for Irena Srbinovska who has packed up her Melbourne life to be with him in Perth.
After reuniting on Wednesday for the first time in 10 weeks, the couple are ready to finally begin their relationship.
During the past few months Gilbert has been the subject of intense rumours about whether he is already single, and has been slammed for liking other women’s pictures on Instagram.
“The time frame is so far off,’’ Gilbert said.
“I’m one that doesn’t really think about what I’m doing anyway so I tend to get into trouble here and there.”
Srbinovska said: “They didn’t cotton on to the fact he was liking all these hiking pics.”
She added: “It’s been almost seven months since it all began and after all those months we’re finally able to start our relationship and tell everyone how happy we are.
“I have left my job, I have left my family and friends and the only city that I have lived in.
“I have found a job in Perth and can’t wait to start living the rest of my life with Locky.”
Srbinovska, a nurse, spent two weeks in quarantine in a Sydney hotel to be able to reunite with Gilbert ahead of Thursday night’s finale. The couple will enjoy a few weeks travelling around NSW before having to quarantine together for a fortnight in Perth.
Gilbert chose series favourite Srbinovska over 25-year-old digital marketing creative Bella Varelis in an explosive episode.
Neither remain in contact with Varelis.
“Going into this I never expected to make such incredible friendships and from day one Bella and I were glued at the hip and we did everything together,’’ Srbinovska said.
“I think that’s what broke us in the end, is that we were so close and falling in love with the same guy, it was never going to work out and something had to give.
“It was either our relationship with each other or with Locky. I followed my heart and unfortunately the friendship broke up but it is what it is. I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she finds happiness. I’m just focusing on my life with Locky now.”
Gilbert added: “I don’t think I’ve ever cried like that in my life. It was such a hard process and I did build pretty strong connections with each of the girls and I don’t like hurting people. How I’m feeling now is happier than ever and I’ve got one girl in my life and I want that girl for the rest of my life.”
