Love It Or List It calls for applicants for sixth season

Australia’s favourite property duo are set to return for a new series of Foxtel and Binge’s Love it Or List It.

Love It Or List It Australia will soon return for a sixth season with estate expert Andrew Winter and designer Neale Whitaker, it’s been announced today.

The pair will be once again tasked with helping Aussie homeowners who are torn between deciding whether to sell up or renovate their homes.

Over the last five seasons, the beloved twosome have helped more than 50 families make life-changing decisions by lending their expertise in the FOXTEL Original show. .

“Watch out we are back, don’t think that competition between the love it and list it camps will ease,” said Winter, who shared that he can’t wait to get started on the new season.

“It will be as fierce as ever. Add in a property market where locations are all moving at different paces, this will impact the choices our homeowners make this season. I can’t wait to start looking at some tempting real estate.”

Whitaker added that with Aussie’s feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis, the show felt more important than ever.

“It’s exciting to be returning for Season 6 of Love It Or List It Australia!” he said.

“I can guarantee plenty of good-natured sparring between Andrew and I (he’s so competitive), but more importantly, plenty of problem solving and creative ideas for Australian homeowners facing the very real dilemma of whether to stay or go. In these cost-conscious times, I want them to fall in love with their homes all over again.”

Opening up about what it’s like to work with homeowners, Whitaker previously told The Courier Mail sometimes he receives feedback from the owners that he was not ready to hear.

“They’ll tell you — you’re spending their money,” he confessed. “It’s not like we’re giving them the renovation for free, we’re spending their money, … so it’s very important they get what they want.”
