Tania Buckley has expressed her pride after ex-husband Nathan coached his final game with Collingwood on Monday.

Buckley, who was by Nathan’s side for over 20 years during his decorated playing and coaching career, commented “So Proud” along with a love heart on the Magpies’ video tribute uploaded to Instagram on Thursday.

The couple share two sons, Jett and Ayce, who were part of the emotional farewell scenes with their dad after Collingwood’s win over Melbourne at the SCG.

Nathan played 260 games for the Magpies and coached 218 games across the past decade.

The Buckleys announced their split in December last year after 18 years of marriage.

The pair first stepped into the spotlight at the 2001 Brownlow Medal when Tania wore her infamous G-string dress.

She has largely shunned the public glare and has always carried herself with grace.

In March she stepped out during the Melbourne Fashion Festival to support her fashion designer friend Jason Grech.

Nathan has now moved on with new partner, cosmetic nurse and mum of three Alex Pike.

When the Buckleys announced their marriage was over in December, they released a joint statement.

“It has been a tough and challenging year for every family and for ours included,” it said.

“It is with the utmost love and respect for each other and a true commitment to our sons, that we have made a decision to separate in January (2020).

“We remain dedicated parents and in the interests of our boys, we ask for our family to be given the privacy that is needed.

“We thank everyone in advance for understanding our request and for the unconditional love and support we have received throughout our marriage.”
