Sophie Cachia’s beauty brand taken offline as former WAG prepares to offload business

Sophie Cachia’s gender-neutral cosmetic company appears to have quietly vanished online, prompting the influencer to address ongoing speculation about its fate.

Sophie Cachia’s gender-neutral cosmetic company appears to have quietly shut its doors for now, sparking rumours of potential liquidation after traces of the company vanished online.

The website for AISURU Cosmetics, originally founded by the former WAG and fellow influencer Mia Plecic, is no longer active while its Instagram has also been taken offline.

But Cachia told the Herald Sun on Tuesday not all was as it seemed.

“Myself and my business partner simply cannot give it the love it deserves as we both own other companies that occupy most of our time so we want it to go to someone who can help it thrive,” Cachia said.

“It’s a brilliant ready-to-go start up with stock, direct manufacturing relationships, operational equipment etc for anyone interested in owning/running their own small business.

“To build something from the ground up has been exciting but I’ll be very selective of where it goes. it’s like one of my babies.”

Cachia said her self-titled pyjama business, Cachia, was going from strength to strength and is celebrating its seventh birthday this week.

ASIC documents obtained by the Herald Sun also confirmed the beauty brand, now in its third year of operation, was still actively listed for trading.

The surprising move to sell comes after followers took to online forums in recent months to share suspicions that the businesswoman’s empire was slowly going under.

“Obviously Sophie Cachia’s beauty business “Aisuru Co” is not going to well,” one user said.

“They’re now offering bundles with old clearance toiletry cases from her PJ business and a tan off glove for her business partner, Leah Betts …”

Cachia, who ended things with girlfriend and AFLW player Sophie Van De Heuvel in January, declared AISURU had become a “one woman show” almost two years ago after Plecic shared her controversial views on vaccine mandates.
