Pink sends up her tennis playing abilities after headlining charity game, Desert Smash

Superstar singer Pink has taken on a look fans have never seen before, as another massive Australian concert is confirmed.

P!nk has claimed another box office record in Australia with her massive Summer Carnival tour.

The Trustfall pop superstar has added another show at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, making her the first female artist to ever play three concerts at the massive venue.

The response to her return to Australian stages in early 2024 after more than five years has been phenomenal.

Since she launched the Australian leg of the tour - her first-ever stadium tour here - she has already sold more than 550,000 tickets.

The new Aussie show comes as Pink turned heads at the world’s most renowned celebrity tennis event, Desert Smash - but she held no illusions about her technical proficiency at the game itself.

Pink, sporting a fluoro pink ensemble of her namesake hue headlined the 19th Annual Desert Smash in La Quinta, California last week, and then on Sunday, posted pics to her Instagram account to comment on her on-court performance.

“I knew when I started playing tennis two years ago, that I would look this confused in my first tournament. But we raised some much needed funds for @playingforchangefoundation and I also got this outfit and a free tennis racket which means I WENT PRO LIKE I SAID I WOULD.”

The accomplished live performer and aerialist, 43, continued, tongue in cheek: “If you wanna be the oldest loudest and slowest player on the court - THIS TOO CAN BE YOU.”

The Just Like Fire hit maker, who is currently playing concert gigs in Australia, joined other celebrities in the desert city, such as fellow singer, Natasha Bedingfield.

Pink’s sleeveless, above the knee tennis dress revealed several of her signature tattoos. The chest of her dress was emblazoned with a gold lightning bolt design, spelling super hero vibes.

It comes as the mother of two posted another image just a day ago as a throwback: “Just gotta give a shout out to THAT JUICY BOOTY” in a Friday flashback photo of her almost baring her buttocks and the bow tattoos on the backs of her thighs for a Women’s Health Magazine photo spread.

The star wore her trademark short hairdo bleached blonde and brushed down with a side part. She kept her accessories simple with silver ear cuffs and a small pair of dangly earrings.

Pink released her ninth studio album, Trustfall.

In the Women’s Health article published last month she shared the importance of fitness and revealed that her regime includes kickboxing, strength training, yoga, and Pilates.

Known for her physical prowess when performing live in concert, the pop singer also poked fun at herself: “I have wide, big feet, and I joke, ‘The better to kick you with.’ I’m short, close to the ground, fast, and agile.”

On her Instagram, Pink that despite her shortcomings as a ‘pro’ tennis player, Desert Smash was the “most fun day ever and I want a do over cause I didn’t know the actual rules” followed by cry-laughing emojis.
