“It’s happening, not once or twice, but on a consistent basis.

“(My daughters) go out to parties in all these areas. I am concerned when they do go out. I’ve had friends and family members at parties where some of these gangs have come in and terrorised the whole lot. So now, as soon as they rock in, the party disperses very quickly.
“I believe, with the family members I’ve spoken to, there is an issue with the African gangs.”
Gold Coast-based radio breakfast host Everitt will visit a war zone as part of social experiment Go Back To Where You Came From Live, which airs on SBS tonight, tomorrow and Thursday.
Former senator Jacqui Lambie, Gretel Killeen and Meshel Laurie are also taking part.
Everitt, 44, says he is “excited and nervous at the same time” about being sent to a dangerous region — the destination has not yet been disclosed for security reasons — for the live portion of the show.
The former Saints, Hawthorn and Swans player has said he strongly believes refugees should enter the country “the right way”.
Though he is based in Queensland with wife Sheree, his daughters from a previous relationship are based in Melbourne.
He says he is going into the televised experiment with an open mind.
“If I have been wrong for the past 10 years because I’ve been uneducated in that area then I’m happy to say that,” he said.
“If you’re wrong at the end of it, then so be it.”
