A bitter dispute has broken out between former Hawthorn champion Josh Gibson and his ex-partner Olga Kononchuk after allegations of “bad behaviour” and a “lack of respect” caused the pair to break up last year. Now things are going from bad to worse.

Former Hawthorn champion Josh Gibson is embroiled in a bitter dispute with ex-partner Olga Kononchuk following their break-up late last year.
The triple-premiership player and the Russian-born beauty split up over Christmas after almost 18 months together.
Kononchuk made headlines after she was involved in a horror boating accident on Port Phillip Bay celebrating Stakes Day with Gibson in 2018. She suffered severe spinal injuries and uses a wheelchair as she continues rehabilitation.
A major row about Gibson’s alleged “bad behaviour” and “lack of respect” is understood to have caused the break-up.
Shortly afterwards, Gibson deleted all pictures of Kononchuk from his Instagram.
The relationship is understood to have soured significantly in the months since the break-up.
Sources close to the couple say 36-year-old Gibson moved in with Kononchuk and her two young boys in her luxury Bayside home.
But they say Kononchuk, who is from a wealthy Russian family, was “blindsided” and “left very disappointed” following a bitter spat just before the split.
Gibson, a former Myer model and Instagram brand ambassador following his football career, was often seen driving Kononchuk’s expensive cars.

The very-private Kononchuk is still recovering from serious spinal injuries after slipping on a boat in Port Phillip Bay.
She and Gibson had been together five months and were celebrating Stakes Day with friends when the accident happened in November, 2018.
Kononchuk was rushed to the Alfred Hospital where tests revealed significant damage to vertebrae in her lower back.
Only weeks before their break-up, Gibson was gushing about his love for Kononchuk during last year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Following his retirement, Gibson appeared on Channel 10s reality survival television series, I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
He sold his Elwood property in an off-market deal last month for close to $1.7 million.
Gibson previously dated US-based TV presenter Renee Bargh.
Neither Gibson nor Kononchuk wished to comment on Friday night.
