They were celebrating this week at Bulldogs teammate Jason Johannisen and partner Logan Shine’s “gender reveal” (it’s all the rage) party at Yarraville’s Railway Hotel. It’s a girl!
Meanwhile, Fifi Box lamented about the horrors of her pregnancy condition hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), aka the “severe morning sickness” Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton suffered from.
Box says she has been debilitated by nausea, bedridden and at times, hospitalised.
“Debilitated by nausea, bedridden and at times hospitalised. The easiest way of describing HG is ‘severe morning sickness’,” Box wrote.
She cited fellow sufferer Amy Schumer, saying “comparing HG to morning sickness is like having an arrow through your skull and saying it’s like a minor headache”.
“I have felt poisoned every second of this pregnancy,” wrote Box. “It’s like having gastro every minute, every hour of every day for nine months.
“It is possibly the greatest mental and physical challenge of my life. HG has made this much wanted and longed for pregnancy an incredibly tough journey.”
