MR BIG’S MELBOURNE WINTER SPECIAL
There was quite the ruckus when the Mr Bigs of Melbourne dropped in summer.
Many of our city’s singles – from the six packs, the six figures, the social set, the smokin’ hot and the cerebral – were plenty unhappy to not have made the cut.
Believe us we got the calls.
But all is fair in love and war, and our list is already outdated, with some already snapped up and off the market and plenty of fresh meat now on it!
As winter hits its peaks, it’s time to get smuggled up, with few things capturing the attention like eligible bachelors.
But what makes a man a catch? Don’t think it’s just a list of our AFL jocks and reality hotties.
There is something for everyone, whether for their impeccable style, commitment to philanthropic causes, culture vultures, tastemakers and a few playboys thrown in for good measure.
Because remember someone’s catch is another’s throw and we wouldn’t dare discriminate. XOXO
Lee Elliott
After a shock split from his TV love, the Bachelorette Georgia Love, the tradie is back in his single and dating era. A more down to earth lover of a drink and a chat would be hard to find.
Ryan Papenhuyzen
The Melbourne Storm star only recently split from Sydney influencer Emma MacDonald and we know how much girls love a mullet. He’s got the looks and the swagger and will no doubt have a short-lived period on the market.
Jamarra Ugle-Hagan
Troubled Western Bulldogs forward has spent most of this year on leave battling mental health issues but he’s also been spotted hitting the clubs. Was last in a relationship with fitness influencer Olivia Kelly.
Lach Thompson

Joe and Xander McGuire
The sons of media stalwart Eddie McGuire are making their mark – Joe as a college punter in the US and Xander as a sports reporter on Channel 7. Both in their early 20s the brothers are well-mannered and level-headed.
Dom Dolla
If you’re looking for a star on the rise then save up for the kid who grew up around Werribee. Hearing he’s split from his British girlfriend and is doing the rounds on dating app Raya, Dolla (real name Dominic Matheson) can do no wrong behind the DJ decks.
Mitch Hibberd
A one-time Essendon and North Melbourne footballer his strong suit is the playing field away from the sporting arena. A Love Island favourite he’s beefed up and easy on the eye – a seductive combo.
Nathan Buckley
The Collingwood legend is back out there after splitting from his latest girlfriend Brodie Ryan. Bucks is a catch – a media star with a potential return to coaching on the horizon, who wouldn’t want to be Tassie’s first lady.
Dustin Martin
It feels like Dusty is always on the market but who would really know given his ultra low profile. The tatted Tigers superstar is enjoying retired life and we hear keeping very fit and enjoying life.
Chris Kontos
A social staple in the Melbourne and Adelaide scenes, this PR star is rarely left off an A-list invite roll call. Mixes with the top queens including Bec Judd, Nadia Bartel, Sarah Lucas and rich-lister sisters Georgia and Bella Geminder.

Josh Piterman
The Ballarat born theatre star with a voice of god is not only talented but charming, handsome and a delight. The holy trifecta! Think the Phantom of the Opera but without all the melodrama.
Felix Von Hofe
Known to like a flutter, and we don’t just mean with the form guide, Felix Von Hofe was one of three Bachelors on Network 10’s reality love series. Now more a fixture of fun on the racing channels and as host of Players, the former basketballer has been known to shoot plenty of hoops on and off the court.
Nathan Freeman
Breathe. The former AFL draft pick turned Australian Survivor reality contestant can do more than battle it out shirtless on a deserted island. Now the CEO and founder of Breath Haus, he is part of the new breathwork phenonome. Again just breathe.
Thanasi Kokkinakis
Did we say f-boy? The tennis ace is known for his prowess on the dating apps and is more recently calling Melbourne home while recovering from injury. He’s aligning with big brands like Piper-Heidsieck when not on the global tennis circuit. Injuries might have hurt him on the court, but not so off it.

Clint Stanaway
The TV host and third wheel to FM’s number one brekkie show Jase and Lauren, Stanaway or ‘Stanas’ is not just one of the busiest men in showbiz but the most popular. A sought after MC at A-list events around town, his gift of the gab might not just be all things professional.
Khanh Ong
