She was shamefully shunned by Australian basketball, but Elizabeth Cambage is back living her best life.
The homegrown basketball beauty was this week out and about with the Kanye West entourage in Florida.
Holding the hand of North, West’s eldest child with former wife Kim Kardashian, Cambage was seen arriving to the rapper’s upcoming album release party after the Art Basel in Miami Beach.
Protecting North from the crowd of hollering fans, Cambage pushed through with West’s wife, Melbourne’s Bianca Censori (pictured) behind her.
Censori was holding the Wests’ youngest child, Chicago, in her arms instead of the usual furry toy she carries as a security blanket (Censori not Chicago that is).
Only Fans star Cambage and Censori have become fast friends, with both hailing from Melbourne and having a firm interest in fashion.
Cambage is understood to have privately taught basketball to West and Kardashian’s children when they were married.
Page 13 exclusively revealed last month that Cambage had signed one of the biggest contracts in women’s basketball history, with $1m pay deal with a Chinese basketball team.
Cambage has based herself in Los Angeles after falling out with the Australian national team following a blow-up during a practice match against Nigeria in the lead-up to the Tokyo Olympics.
After an altercation on court, Cambage was king-hit from the sidelines, with her Opals teammates just looking on.
Cambage walked away from the Opals before the 2021 Tokyo Olympics citing mental health issues following the Nigerian incident and left mid season while playing for the LA Sparks in the WNBA. She will not play with the Opals at the Paris Olympics.
“One milly then I’ll perform. If they hate then let ‘em hate and watch the money pile up,” Cambage posted following the news of her new signing.
Looks like a slam-dunk.
