After his Love Boat superyacht shenanigans, billionaire Lindsay Fox is heading airside for his upcoming birthday bash— or is he?

Lindsay Fox says his “partying days are over.”
We beg to differ. There is still plenty left in tank of the upmarket trucker who turns 87 next week.
And, yes, he is throwing one of his big bashes, sadly not on his Love Boat superyacht.
Oh, the column inches we got from that.
It was nine months too early so he called it his 80th “conception” party.
This time the party is supposedly in the old Fox hangar at Essendon Fields Airport.
That is according to some who say they’re going but not according to Fox and we hope Page 13 didn’t give away any secrets when we came calling this week.
“I think there is a secret surprise being organised,” Fox let slip.
“I thought it was at the Regent Hotel.”
Cripes.
Fox was adamant on one thing however, there will be a repeat of last year’s Scottish highland dress theme, like last year’s shindig at the National Gallery of Victoria.
No wonder the location given he and wife Paula gifted the gallery a cool $100 million a couple of birthdays ago.
The family patriarch loves a theme and assured us they will be doing “the twirly twirl” in honour of his Scottish heritage next Friday.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is on the invite list along with the usual suspects including Jeff Kennett, Eddie McGuire, Lloyd Williams, Gerry Ryan, St Kilda footy club president Andrew Bassat, Linfox director Bill Kelty and, yes, Dan Andrews.
“I’ve thrown lots of good ones,” said the old trucker, “but my partying days are over. I’m past parties.”
So what’s going on?
“There are some secret surprises I believe. I don’t know what the hell they are up to.”
One thing we can assure you, it won’t be a dull affair.
