Golden retriever boyfriends are so last year, with this season all about the hot rodent celebrity.

Page 13 loves a buzz term and yes the “golden retriever”, or the loving, supportive, caring loyal lapdog boyfriend is out and “hot rodents” are in.
Just think of our Chris Hemsworth as a retriever, while actors Timothee Chalamet, Barry Keoghan and Kieran Culkin are prime examples of the newly crowned Hot Rodent Boyfriend, or someone who has angular features, a slim build and doesn’t conform to traditional notions of attractiveness.
A quick straw poll and our very own Alex de Minaur was crowned Australia’s rat king, with fellow Aussies singer Troye Sivan, actors Ryan Corr, Richard Roxburgh and Ewen Leslie and The Project’s Sam Taunton close behind with the jury still out on Scott Pendlebury.
