‘Don’t think he’s well … had too many smacks in the head’: Capper shocks audience with lewd acts
Former Swans star Warwick ‘Wiz’ Capper, who has spoken about concussion from his playing days, got carried away at an Altona sportsman’s night — taking to the stage and simulating rude acts — but he denies he let his “package” slip out.

He was known for his tight shorts in his playing days. But Warwick ‘The Wiz” Capper is denying he let his package slip out at a recent sportsman’s night.
Capper, who has recently claimed he is dealing with concussion issues from his playing days, had many patrons at an Altona sports club earlier this month more than just raising their eyebrows.
We’d say jaws were to the floor, but even that comes off a bit rude given Capper’s antics.
The former Sydney Swans champion goal kicker and scallywag is a regular at the venue but onlookers said he got more than carried away when taking to the stage, simulating rude acts with a worker and allegedly mouthing off numerous claims from drug use to getting off with the organiser’s wife the night before.
But you won’t hear an associate of Mr Capers who was there say a bad word about The Wiz.
While he said it wasn’t his, er, best performance, Dennis was worried about Capper’s state of mind.
“We had a meeting about it afterwards. I don’t think he’s well. I just don’t think he’s well. I think he’s had too many smacks in the head,” Dennis told Page 13.
“I’m a bit concerned for Warwick and I’m really concerned for him.”
A patron who contacted Page 13 said his behaviour was lewd and crude as he “simulated oral sex” as an employee tried to help fix his phone on stage.
“Perhaps some of my behaviours on occasion can be inappropriate; I play too much into the ‘Warwick Capper’ persona to make people happy and have a laugh and I probably shouldn’t,” Capper said in a statement to Page 13.
“Although there were some tasteless jokes, under no circumstance did I expose myself on stage to the audience.”
Hopefully that’s the last time we have to ask the question about the Wiz and issues with keeping it tucked in.
