TWO of footy’s biggest names, Fevola and Rioli, are locked in a romantic tackle.
It’s young love, the next gen, between Brendan Fevola’s eldest daughter Mia, 18, and rising Richmond star Daniel Rioli, 20.

But has Big Fev’s worst nightmare come true?
Fev once said his great fear was for one of his three daughters to date a footy player.
“You know with your daughter, you want them to go out with a kid that studies hard,” Fev said.
“You want someone who wants to be a doctor. You don’t want a bikie, and especially me, I don’t want a football player. I know what those little terrors do.”
But in spite of his reservations, the former Carlton spearhead has given Rioli a big tick of approval, saying as long as his 18-year-old daughter is happy, the kid is all right.
“My wish hasn’t gone to plan at all,” Fevola chuckled.
“Daniel seems like a nice kid. He is a very shy boy. I think they’ve been friends for a little while.
“But dads don’t get told much. We get kept in the dark.”
BRENDAN FEVOLA REVEALS HIS 2018 SUPERCOACH TEAM
Rioli has a unique relationship with Tigers coach Damien Hardwick. He lives with Hardwick and his family, and escorted the coach’s 17-year-old daughter Issy to the Brownlow Medal last year.
Mia Fevola, who is now the face of mother Alex Fevola’s Runway Room cosmetics line, previously went out with St Kilda rookie Josh Battle.
At the time, the once-mighty Carlton spearhead challenged Battle to a contested mark “contest” — and won — to prove his skills were still superior to those of his daughter’s then boyfriend.
Fev ruled out doing the same with the Tigers premiership player.
Rioli, whose cousin Cyril sits among the game’s greats, has been battling a foot injury since last year’s Grand Final.
“He is a good player, but he has a sore foot, and I’ve just come back from an achilles as well,” Fev said.
“So there will be no comp between us. He might be a bit quick for me anyway, I reckon. He has the premiership. I didn’t get one of them, so he has that on me.”
