Brodie Ryan, the now ex girlfriend of former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley, has declared her break-up an “end of an era”. Social media is yet to be convinced.

Brodes and Bucks, Posh and Becks you ain’t. Ouch.

Brodie Ryan, the now ex-girlfriend of former Collingwood premiership star and coach Nathan Buckley, has copped an onslaught for her epic break-up post on social media.

While Tania Hird and Buckley’s former cosmetic nurse girlfriend Alex Pike are said to have maintained a “dignified silence”, Ryan received a barrage of “stunning and braves” after she sent out long-winded posts about “months of heartbreak” and “messages of support” to the “Brodes and Bucks” journey.

One of Ryan’s posts was titled “End of an era” with a picture of a solitary glass of wine while watching Fox Footy at the former AFL couple’s local, the Elwood Tavern.

Ryan said she was going to be sad to have to move out of the house she and Buckley bought together in June last year and leave the community in the Bayside beach ’burb.

Who gets custody of the couple of three-year’s dog, Tank, had many wondering on social media.

“She has issued a statement akin to Buckingham Palace announcing the death of Princess Diana,” wrote Amanda Goff, formerly known as Samantha X, who has recently moved to Melbourne was perhaps the most savage of critics.

“The heartbroken lass even referred to herself and Nathan as ‘Brodes and Buck’ — which I’m pretty sure no one has ever said. Ever. Sorry ‘Broes you many be well-known for being Nathan’s bird in Melbourne but Posh and Becks you ain’t.”

Again, ouch!
