The Black Sabbath rocker, 74, looked frail on a recent shopping trip days after wife Sharon’s mysterious medical emergency.

A frail Ozzy Osbourne was spotted leaning on a cane while shopping at the luxury supermarket Erewhon Market in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The Crazy Train rocker, 74, looked almost unrecognisable with chin-length grey hair and a grey tartan coat paired with black trainers. A female assistant helped him manoeuvre his shopping cart through the store, the New York Post reports.

His LA sighting comes days after his wife, Sharon, was hospitalised after suffering a medical emergency while filming scenes for son Jack’s paranormal TV series.

In early 2020, the Prince of Darkness publicly revealed his battle with Parkinson’s disease, though he was reportedly diagnosed in 2003. He now uses the walking stick for that reason.

Throughout the course of his life, Ozzy has dealt with alcohol and substance abuse issues, as well as hospitalisation stints.

Since 2019, he has undergone several surgeries to fix his neck and back issues that stemmed from a home fall and an ATV accident 16 years prior. His last operation was in June when he had pins removed and realigned in his neck and back.

Determined to not let his health issues hold him back, the Black Sabbath frontman told People in September that he still plans to hit the road.

“It’s where I belong,” Ozzy said about touring. “The relationship I have with my audience is the biggest love affair of my life.

“I am determined to get back on stage even if I have to be nailed to a board and wheeled on,” he added. “Survival is my legacy.”

Meanwhile, following her hospitalisation, Sharon, 70, revealed that she was back home and “doing great” in social media posts on Monday, though she has yet to publicly disclose the reason for her hospital stay. The Post reported Saturday that a source said it was not life-threatening.

“She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home,” Jack Osbourne wrote in a Saturday Instagram Story. “As to what happened to my mum — I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”

She was well enough to do some shopping of her own at the James Perse store in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Sharon and Ozzy have claimed that they will soon be moving back across the pond because Ozzy was fed up with America’s continuous gun violence. But the Brit recently changed his tune and said that he would rather stay in the US after all.
