Katy Perry reveals pregnancy ahead of visit to Melbourne
US pop superstar Katy Perry has made a big announcement in her latest video and revealed she will be coming to Melbourne with a surprise guest.

Katy Perry has confirmed she is pregnant to fiance Orlando Bloom.
The singer revealed her news in the video for new single Never Worn White, where she displays her baby bump.
“Let’s just say it’s going to be a jam-packed summer,” Perry tweeted.
“I had to reveal it at some point, it was getting pretty obvious,” Perry told fans on social media.
“I am excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep, I like to tell you guys everything, I thought I would tell you in the best way, which is through a piece of music. That’s how I speak to you.”
The bump will get its first official public exposure when Perry arrives in Melbourne this weekend for the ICC T20 Women’s World Cup.
Perry is due to make a promotional appearance on Saturday ahead of performing at the MCG on Sunday night.
She has also announced a free concert in Bright on March 11 for those affected by the bushfires.
Perry tweeted “So glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore ... or carry around a big purse.”
She told fans the pregnancy coincides with her fifth album coming later this year.
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, but also, figuratively, to something you guys have been waiting for. Let’s call it a double whammy.”
Romantic ballad Never Worn White is a tribute to Bloom, who she has been dating on and off since 2016.
Bloom proposed on Valentine’s Day last year.
The pair have both been married before. Katy married Russell Brand in 2010 and the relationship lasted 14 months. Bloom married Australian model Miranda Kerr in 2010 and the pair had son Flynn in 2011 and split in 2013.
The lyrics of Perry’s new song say “I’ve never worn white but I want to get it right, I really want to try with you”.
