The face of David Jones rocked the runway in a series of stunning looks for the new season by designers including Proenza Schouler, Camilla, Kit X, Scanlan Theodore and Dion Lee.
Australian indie-pop performer Owl Eyes set the tone for the showcase opening the parade with her latest single On Me.
Inspired by the department store’s new-season campaign, The Art of Living, the show was styled by trends and featured the latest looks for the new season from Australian and international designers including Aje, Balmain, Bianca Spender, Camilla & Marc, Carla Zampatti, Double Rainbouu, Rixo London, and Zimmermann.

Gomes headlined the parade alongside model Tom Derickx.
More than 200 looks were on show, including scarfs by David Jones’ emerging designer Lyn-Al Young and designs by 2019 National Designer Award winner Christian Kimber.
Neutrals, clashing prints, animal prints and power suits were among the key trends featured.
Gomes said walking in the David Jones Gala runway was one of her favourite events.
“I really enjoy myself in the show, it’s great being up close with the consumers. Everything they see on the catwalk they can shop straight away,” she says.
Famous faces sitting front row included Rebecca Judd, Nadia Bartel, Isabella Giovinazzo, Edwina McCann, Carrie Bickmore, Brit Davis, Jordan Ablett and Rebecca Harding.
