Luke Hodge says he won’t be putting an asterisk on this year’s premiership.
The former Hawthorn and Brisbane champion will be impressed by any team that can win despite the year’s hiccups.
“It’s a pretty important year,’’ he said.
“I always appreciate the 2014 (flag with Hawthorn) because of the resilience we had. Injuries, (coach Alastair Clarkson) Clarko was sick, so I hold that one higher and this is the same.”
Hodge, who still lives in Brisbane, is commentating with Channel 7 and is now joining SEN, every Tuesday with Gerard Whateley and also Saturday Crunch Time.
“Our main thing is talking about topics of the week and I’m sure Clarko will get a mention,’’ Hodge said.
