Rumoured catfight at Geelong could be patched up

A move from Amie Rohan has hinted at more tension in her relationship breakdown with AFL ex Gary Rohan.

Geelong Football Club made an interesting choice when it popped a photo of Tom Hawkins and Gary Rohan on social media showing the camaraderie between the pair as training stepped up a notch.

The picture was interesting as rumours swirled at the end of last season that there had been a “catfight” within the AFL’s Queensland hub, with footy forums ablaze with chatter Hawkins had confronted Rohan about the breakdown of his marriage and rumoured new friend.

The rumours of friction between the pair have never been addressed by either party and possibly Geelong was sending an unspoken message to supporters that everyone is getting along famously this year.

Meanwhile, Rohan, who split with wife Amie midway through last year, went down the “positive Insta quotes” rabbit hole last week.

“Eventually you’ll end up where you need to be, with who you’re meant to be with, and doing what you should be doing,” he posted.

Amie, with whom he has two children, appears to have unfollowed him on social media.

Hopefully all parties are happy.
