A power couple has tied the knot on the Mornington Peninsula in front of guests from Victoria’s political and business circles.

Power couple Ben Gray and Luba Grigorovitch tied the knot on the Mornington Peninsula on Saturday in front of guests from Melbourne’s business community, the Victorian Union movement, politicians and family and close friends.

Gray, the boss of private equity firm BGH Capital and the son of former Tasmanian Premier Robin Gray, and Grigorovitch, the former secretary and national president of the Rail, Tram and Bus Union who was recently elected to the Victorian parliament as the member for Kororoit, first met through the Australian American Leadership Dialogue and have been dating since late 2020.

Grigorovitch wore a stunning gown by Armadale designer Karen Willis Holmes.

The couple were married by celebrant Colleen Hartland, the former member for the Western Metropolitan Region in the state parliament, with James Roche assisting as an unofficial celebrant.

Their first dance together as husband and wife was to a cover of Sorrento Moon (I remember) by Tina Arena, a fitting choice for the peninsula location.

Formalities concluded with a toast from Gray’s eldest child Audrey Gray and Grigorovitch’s brother Robert, who also walked his sister down the aisle during their wedding ceremony.

“We are so thrilled to be sharing our very happy day with so many wonderful friends and our beautiful families,” the newlyweds said.

The couple organised the intimate celebration of love and family in collaboration with White Top Venues.
