Melbourne fashion bombshell Chantelle Price was such a vision of elegance and romantic perfection in her Mariana Hardwick gown on her wedding day, the designer named the stunning dress after her.
Chantelle wed her partner of nine years, Tanner Stanton, in a picture-perfect setting at a private estate on the Bellarine Peninsula complete with a dramatic red vine wall on March 7, 2021.
Chantelle, a model who is represented by Chadwick Models, and Stanton, a primary school PE teacher, wanted their wedding to have the feel of Tuscany.
“The day had a beautiful Tuscan, European vibe with beautiful autumn red leaves covering the Tuscan villa walls at the venue. We loved the feel of the venue,” she said.
“It was honestly the best day of our lives, everything was so incredible and we wouldn’t change a thing.”
Chantelle, 24, wore two exquisite gowns on the day.
“Creating my ceremony gown with the team at Mariana Hardwick was a dream come true,” she said.
“It had a tight, strapless bodice with a big, beautiful skirt, a big open split and long train.
“My veil had hundreds of hand-beaded pearls which matched the buttons on my dress and my Mum’s pearl earrings which I wore.”
Mariana named the stunning gown ‘Chantelle’ in her honour.
“That was super special,” she said of the gesture.
Chantelle chose a second “party” gown from Jane Hill Bridal which was a custom version of their ‘Saint’ gown.
“It was the perfect evening gown to party the night away,” she said.
Tanner and the groomsman wore suits from Jo Black.
The wedding was planned and styled by Laura Harvey from Weddings of Desire, florals were by Georgia Ko Floristry, the celebrant was Natalie Drum from Ivory Tribe, catering was by Annie’s Provedore and the wedding cake was created by Love It Cakes.

Chantelle met Tanner through his sister, Grace, when she was 15.
“I did dancing with his sister Grace and we got on really well and she was like, ‘I have to introduce you to my brother,’ so she kind of set us up,” Chantelle said.
Grace naturally was part of the bridal party.
Tanner proposed in the vineyard at Polperro Winery in Red Hill in December 2019.
“It was a very special moment,” Chantelle said.

AIDA OPENING NIGHT - SOUTHBANK
Opera Australia’s Aida opened at the State Theatre at the Arts Centre Melbourne on Thursday night with guests showing real style adhering to the black tie dress code. With ten towering digital screens, lavish costumes and stunning performances,the show was a visual and musical feast - albeit with a few blips with the subtitles. Leah Crocetto, Elena Gabouri and Stefano La Colla star. Guests included Shaynna Blaze, Rhonda Burchmore, Casey Donovan, Elise McCann, Victoria Pajouhesh, Jordan Arendale, Tom Gleisner and Lynley Crosswell. The Aida season runs until May 21, 2021.

A glorious afternoon was had at the Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation Mother’s Day Luncheon at Leonda By The Yarra in Hawthorn on Thursday with 350 guests supporting philanthropy and vital medical research.
Guests heard from Lord Mayor Sally Capp, Dr Elaine Sanij from St Vincent’s Institute and Susan Alberti. Craig Willis MC-ed and Wendy Stapleton had the room on its feet with her fabulous performance.

The Carlton In Business lunch on Friday proved more than ever that events are truly back in Melbourne with 1000 guests enjoying the afternoon at the Crown Palladium. The Carlton Football Club has created an incredible network of businesses and movers and shakers with its Carlton in Business program. Virgin Australia CEO Jayne Hrdlicka was the guest speaker and confirmed the airline was extending its partnership with Carlton until the end of 2024. Guests included Mark LoGuidice, Luke Sayers,Cain Liddle, Peter King and Lewis Martin.

Green Phoenix Brunswick officially opened its doors on Thursday night marking the occasion with a invite-only dinner for 36 guests. The cafe/restaurant in Sydney Road offers an eclectic menu ranging from san choy bao to Porterhouse steak as well as heavenly desserts including Coconut Panna Cotta Mountain.
