Melbourne’s Holly-Anne Visser and Adam Davy tied the knot on Saturday, March 20 at St John’s Anglican Church. in Toorak. Visser, a retail leasing executive, looked stunning in her wedding gown by Raffaele Ciuca Bridal with her reception gown also by Raffaele Ciuca.

Davy also works in the property sector. The reception, with Melbourne stylist Elliot Garnaut as MC, was held in a marquee in the Royal Botanic Gardens with catering by Blakes Feast and florals by Tori Allen Events.

“After postponing our wedding due to COVID, the day felt all the more special to us and everyone was there to have a good time. The day was the perfect mix of romance and fun,” Visser said.

Guests included Lily Baker, Lucy Nettlefold and Juliana Buchanan.

Melbourne author Cassie Lane has welcomed her first child with her partner Cameron Moore. Their son, Saxon McKenzie Moore, was born on March 19, 2021.

“I know most people think their newborn is the cutest, but in this case it just happens to be a fact. We are head over heels in love with our little man,” Lane said.

Lane’s first book How To Dress a Dummy was published in 2017. She is a freelance writer and copywriter.

Equestrian identity Georgia Connolly has announced her engagement to Ed Myer.

Connolly was 2019 VRC ambassador and the 2015 Myer Fashions On The Field competition. She was the first Australian woman to compete in the Magnolia Cup, a charity thoroughbred race held at Goodwood in the UK. She is also involved with her father’s commercial real estate business. Myer is the acting CEO of transport app Placie, and is a non-executive director of private investment company Wallaby Downs.

Model and TV presenter Brooke Hogan, and Sorrento Hotel manager Myles Pitt have announced their engagement. Hogan is a successful model and influencer who was also a presenter on the Channel 7 series Great Weekend. She got her start in fashion on the reality TV series Australia’s Next Top Model in 2013.

Co-founder and director of the OneTwo public relations agency Tessa-Jay Slight is expecting her first child with her partner Brett Louis. OneTwo Agency specialises in food, fashion and lifestyle public relations and events. Clients include Wittner, OnceWas, Feathers, Intimo, Nana Judy – For The Love, Volley and the City of Stonnington.

RED LETTER DINNER – CROWN

As Melbourne awakes from the COVID-19 nightmare the city’s philanthropic sector is swinging into action with fundraising events.

The Fight Cancer Foundation held a special Red Letter Dinner for our major sponsors and supporters at the Crown Aviary on Monday evening.

Guests at the intimate event where given an outline of the Foundation’s plans for the year ahead including confirmation that the Red Ball Gala will be held at Crown on September 11.

Guests included Eric Wright, Kylie Whittard, Michele De Koning, Tony Hancy and Kate Whitehead.

#HAPPYHOUR SOIREE – CROWN

Showbiz couple Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell brought together 150 event industry identities for #HappyHour Soiree at Evergreenat Crown on Tuesday evening.

Callea and Campbell decided to host the event as a chance to “provide our embattled industrycolleagues a night off and to offer a glimmer of hope for the return of the events world.”

It was a fantastic evening with Callea and Campbell performing together and then doing separate short sets during the night. Guests included Jo Hall, Kate Halliday, John Foreman, Carolyn Josephson, Xen, Michael Davey, Peter Jones, Liliana Sanelli, Susie Ahern and Olivia Chiodo.
