Married At First Sight’s international couple Samuel Levi and Liam Cooper have settled in Melbourne.

The couple have set up home in Melbourne and attended their first media event in the form of the opening of Mario Di Nardo’s European Hotel in St Kilda on Wednesday.

Sasha Goldsmith is also an investor in the venue.

Levi, who appeared on the New Zealand version of Married At First Sight, and Cooper, who was paired with Georgia Fairweather on Australia’s Married At First Sight in 2021, saw their relationship fast-tracked during the Covid lockdown.

“I have been living in Melbourne for some time and I went to New South Wales to see Liam for what was meant to be just a week,” Levi said.

“That turned into 14 weeks because of lockdown and it was almost like doing the (MAFS) experiment all over again but together.

“I reckon it fast tracked things by at least six months. You get to learn a lot about each other in that small amount of time.”

The couple celebrated their six-month anniversary in early December.

Showing entrepreneurial flare, both men are planning to launch businesses in the new year.
