Hey Hey specials expected to air on Channel 7 later this year
Rumours are swirling that more Hey Hey It’s Saturday specials are on the way, with some big names tipped to perform on the show.

Get set for more Hey Hey It’s Saturday nostalgia to appear on Channel 7.
According to well-placed sources a second Hey Hey special has already been filmed with an announcement expected soon from 7 on broadcast details.
Word is Delta Goodrem makes an appearance doing a version of the Hey Hey theme song made famous by Ricky May.
But even more tantalising is the strong rumour 7 is planning two further Hey Hey specials later this year – certainly particular performers are being quietly sounded out about their availability – following the huge success of the 50th anniversary tribute it aired in 2021.
Daryl Somers, who sadly announced the passing of his dear friend, mentor and creator of Ossie Ostrich, Ernie Carroll on Wednesday, is turning into one of 7’s most bankable stars should the roll out of Hey Hey special continue.
