Demons star Jack Viney and wife Charlotte have welcomed a new baby, who has now thankfully recovered after a shaky start to life.

Melbourne Football Club star Jack Viney has had the perfect start to the new year, welcoming his second child with his wife Charlotte.

Chloe Mae Viney was born on January 3 in Melbourne and is the couple’s second daughter.

“Our beautiful girl arrived on the 3.1.2023 and gave us quite the scare with wet lung,” Charlotte wrote on Instagram.

“She is just perfect, all recovered and back in our arms.

“Mila is already taking her big sister duties very seriously.”

Little Chloe was born with ‘wet lung’ but has recovered.

Wet lung is a respiratory issue where a baby has leftover amniotic fluid fluid in their lungs shortly after birth, which causes rapid breathing.

Charlotte shared a series of family photos and images of Chloe on social media on Saturday morning.

Childhood friends, Charlotte and Jack started dating in 2011, quickly becoming one of the AFL’s most glamorous couples.

They wed at Mitchelton Winery in Nagambie in January 2019 and went on to welcome their first child, Mila, in June 2020.

Viney is one of the most admired players at the Melbourne Football Club having been co-captain from 2017 — 2019, played in the 2021 premiership winning team, and been the club best and fairest winner in 2016.
