After moving her family to London for an extended break, enduring her partner’s ‘nude Skype’ drama, and catching some sun in Europe, Carrie Bickmore will make her return to The Project studio on Monday.
Bickmore and her partner Chris Walker took their family on the road in April and set up home in London for several months.
The move saw her take an extended break from the Channel 10 program.
But her time in the UK was not without its drama.
Walker was left red faced in May after he stripped naked in front of several shocked ABC staff after he thought he’d left a video conference call.
Walker was disrobing to get in the shower, but unfortunately had not logged off from the video meeting which was for the ABC show The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, of which he is the executive producer.
ABC offered staff counselling after the “unintentional incident”. The production team in charge of The Weekly, Thinkative Television, also described the incident as “unintentional.”
Walker and Bickmore did not comment, but maybe she will have something to say on the holiday hiccup when she eases back behind the desk at The Project on Monday after her European and UK sojourn.
