The reveal of Kyle Sandilands, pop singer-songwriter Amy Shark and American singers Harry Connick Jr and Meghan Trainor as judges on the show was met with a collective shrug of the shoulders by social media this week.

The show will be hosted by former Australian Idol contestant Ricki-Lee Coulter and Scott Tweedie. Coulter has history with the show. She placed seventh as a contestant in 2004.
