Gary Rohan and partner Madi Bennett enjoyed a date night at the tennis on Sunday.

The happy couple posted a picture from their seats at the men’s final after Rohan’s ex-wife Amie shared her night out with what looked like her new flame.

A snap of a beaming Rohan with a drink in hand snuggling into the chest of Riley Carter, who goes by the Instagram name of RileyTCarter, set social media alight on Saturday night as friends and high-profile buddies piled into the comments on Instagram to congratulate her on what appeared to be a new beau reveal.

Whatever the nature of their relationship the pair looked to be having a wow of a time together.

Among those to like the post was another former WAG, Nadia Bartel.

Rohan’s picture perfect mate Carter appears to be a Whittlesea local, who last year was a noted performer with the Whittlesea Eagles footy club.

And it looks like Rohan could be stepping back into the world of WAGdom, with Carter planning to play for the Eagles again this year.

“Premiership player and homegrown clubman, Riley Carter has signed on for 2022! While Razz’s on-field skills sometimes leave a bit to be desired, it’s his off-field talents that are his real strength. We’re keen to see what Razz can do in 2022!,” read a post on the Whittlesea Football Club’s facebook page.

Sydney identity Phoebe Burgess, the former wife of rugby league player Sam Burgess, responded to Rohan’s post with a comment of five red heart emojis.

Rohan was formerly married to Geelong player Gary Rohan.

The couple split in mid 2020 and the big Cat is now in a relationship with physiotherapist Maddie Bennett.

Gary Rohan has also taken to fishing, posting recently about his angling success with Salt Guide’s Aaron “Red” Habgood, after hauling in a huge tuna.

Habgood is a mate of Geelong’s Patty Dangerfield.

Gary and Amie Rohan have two young daughters, Bella and Sadie.

They suffered an unimaginable loss when their daughter Willow, Bella’s twin, died just five hours after her birth in 2018 from a neural tube defect.

Amie is now a mental health and child loss awareness advocate and an ambassador for the mental health charity One In Five and Red Nose Australia which supports families who have lost an infant and supports research into SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Amie has previously spoken about suffering PTSD, post natal anxiety and post natal depression following the loss of Willow.

She told the Move Your Mind podcast last year of the pain she suffered when her marriage broke down.

“Last year (2020) was hard for me and every single day I showed up for my girls,” she told the podcast.

“Every single day I got out of bed and faced the day ahead of me.

“The days after my marriage breakdown were some of the hardest days of my life, harder than when we lost Willow.

“But I still got out of bed every day and faced whatever the day brought.”

Hopefully, 2022 has gotten off to a positive start for her.
