Model twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark launch new fitness program

It has taken them two years to create but now model Aussie twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark are ready to release their new six-week fitness program aimed at men and women aged between 16 and 34.

They are well aware the golden years won’t last forever, so two of Australia’s most successful modelling exports are taking steps to secure their future.

IMG models Jordan and Zac Stenmark will this week launch Stenmark Fit, a fitness program two years in the making that will rival those of The Biggest Loser personalities Michelle Bridges and Tiffiny Hall and The Bachelor’s Sam Wood and Tim Robards.

With the boys’ work schedule having taken a bit of a hit following the coronavirus pandemic, the famous twins have had more time to perfect their newest venture, Stenmark Fit.

It will be aimed at men and women aged between 16 and 34, and is being billed as a two-part program covering nutrition and fitness over a six-week course.

“We had so many friends and followers saying ‘we would love to know how you work out and how you make it all work’, and we thought this would be the best way to communicate to everyone the structure that we live by,” Zac told Sunday Confidential.

But he added a warning to anyone hoping for miracles: “It isn’t about a quick fix, it is about creating a lifestyle change.”

The potentially lucrative new venture won’t come as a surprise to many, with Bridges, Wood, Robards and Hall having all cashed in on the popular online model of a fitness program.

“There’s definitely a trend happening,” Jordan said.

“The reason they have been so successful is you create your own schedule.”

“And first and foremost, these programs are sustainable,” Zac added.

“It is not just about getting fitter and stronger but the programs are designed to make your body work much more functionally.”

The Stenmarks have also dabbled in acting and other ventures in recent years.

Their fitness program is their latest attempt to “diversify” their offering in a notoriously fickle industry.

“The fashion industry is ever-evolving and it has been so great to us. We are still going strong but this is an attempt to diversify,” Zac said.

“This is something we think will provide sustainability for us in the long term.

“And if we can help people on their journey, that is really exciting.”

MAFS FAILS TO OFFEND

Just six complaints have been received by the Australian Communications and Media Authority about the 2020 season of Channel 9’s controversial relationship series Married At First Sight — and none have been investigated by the ACMA yet.

The authority, which monitors the regulation of broadcasting, radio communications, telecommunications and online content, confirmed half a dozen complaints had been lodged by viewers.

Those complaints have been referred to Channel 9, which has 60 days to address them with the complainants before they can be considered by ACMA.

“Under the co-regulatory system, the ACMA will refer complainants to the broadcaster in the first instance,” ACMA said in a statement yesterday.

“If the complainant does not receive a response from the broadcaster within 60 days, or is not satisfied with the response, they may refer their complaint to the ACMA.

“We have not yet received any complaints that have returned from the broadcaster.”

Married At First Sight was a hit with viewers again this year, featuring a cast of headline makers and drama queens.

Casting is under way for the next series.

SPARKY MAT HAS HIS EYE ON THE PRIZE

A loved-up sparky from Broken Hill is one of 20 contestants set to feature on the upcoming season of Big Brother.

Country-raised “easygoing” bloke Mat Garrick, 30, has been holed up in the Manly house since February, when filming began on the 2020 reboot.

Sunday Confidential can also reveal the prizemoney for this year’s series of the reality TV show, which has been on a six-year hiatus and will be screened on Channel 7 for the first time, is $250,000.

Self-confessed sports nut Garrick says he’s “batting above average” with his fiancee Jess and plans on using the prizemoney to give his wife-to-be “the wedding of her dreams’’.

But his main reason for applying to go on the show is for the entertainment of the people of Broken Hill.

“Apart from challenging myself I really wanted to try to give the people of Broken Hill and surrounds something to tune into and hopefully give them a reason to smile for a little while,” Garrick said. “It’s been a really tough time out here. The drought has hit us for six.

“So hopefully I can give them something to laugh at and forget what’s going on around them and hopefully make them proud to call me one of their own.”

The reboot, which will feature 20 housemates aged 19-62, will air in five weeks, with Sonia Kruger as host.
