Tommy Little has revealed he was hospitalised after suffering a severe asthma attack.
Little was visiting friends on the Gold Coast when he struggled to breathe and saw a doctor.
“I went backwards health wise so I went to the doctor and she panicked,’’ he said on his FOX FM radio show with Carrie Bickmore.
“She said are you concerned about your breath, I said why, (she said) because you’re breathing like a 90 year old smoker.
“She goes I would be telling you to go to hospital now, but you won’t.
“I’m going to write you out an asthma action plan. If it doesn’t get any better in a few hours go to hospital.”
Little, who had an asthma attack as a kid, said he had also burst an ear drum and was vomiting.
“I stood up in my hotel room and I just couldn’t breathe,’’ he said.
“I went downstairs and got in a cab and showed the cabbie a picture of the hospital. She was a real gorgeous Aussie woman and she said you’re that guy from the TV.

“I was actually genuinely upset and worried about you which is why I took my communication off the social media world and into the real world,’’ she said.
