Theatre star Lucy Durack says she feared one song if revealed on The Masked Singer
Musical theatre star Lucy Durack has revealed the thing she feared the most on the set of The Masked Singer, and why she was happy she wasn’t voted off last week.

Theatre star Lucy Durack says there was one song she feared having to sing mask-less if she was revealed — I Touch Myself.
“I was so relieved,’’ she said.
“If I had to sing that unmasked I might not be confident enough and embarrassed.
“I couldn’t believe I didn’t go earlier. I’m such a big fan of Katie Noonan and Christine Anu and I was like, what, how am I still here. Even if it was the first episode (I was unmasked) I’d have been happy.”
Durack said she was relieved she could share the news with her two young children.
She is confident the finale will be filmed once the cast and crew were out of isolation next week.
“We will still film the finale because we’re all out of quarantine next week,’’ Durack said.
“There are incredibly hectic covid measures in place and the finale will definitely go ahead.
“I’ve never been involved in anything that was that hectic in terms of security and keeping a secret. We don’t at all see each other backstage, we’re all in separate rooms. They’ve got really amazing security people who work on that show.”
Durack, who is currently appearing on Neighbours and is no longer part of Australia’s Got Talent on Channel 7, said she loved her cactus outfit because she needed something lightweight.
“Originally they thought they might have given me kitten but they thought that with my history, I play so many characters who wear pink, it might have been a give away,’’ she said.
“I get a bit motion sick so the only thing was I wanted to see out and have some air flow. I didn’t feel claustrophobic which was good.”
