The footy off-season has so far been a time of celebration for many players tying the knot, expecting, welcoming new additions and becoming engaged.
Geelong star Mitch Duncan and wife Demi are now parents of three after Archie was born on November 27.
“Our hearts are so full, Scarlet & Ollie can’t wait to meet their “Archie bubba”,’’ Demi wrote on Instagram.
Melbourne premiership captain Max Gawn and wife Jess became parents to George in October.
“Mum was best on, closely followed by George,’’ Gawn wrote.
Hawks midfielder Liam Shiels and wife Claire are expecting their first child, while Bulldogs forward Mitch Wallis and wife Emily are also due in April with their second child.
“Incoming brother or sister for Charlie bear. Overjoyed and so grateful for Baby Wallis no.2 Due April 2022,’’ Mitch wrote.
Saints speedster Bradley Hill and his partner Samantha Dobbs are preparing for the arrival of a girl.
In engagement news Carlton’s Jack Newnes has proposed to his partner Jordan Thomas, the daughter of former Saints coach Grant Thomas.
She captioned their picture with “Always”.
Melbourne premiership forward James Harmes popped the question to partner Corey Musser in Laguna Beach last month.

In wedding news Bulldogs star Lachie Hunter is set to marry Maddie Sullivan Thorpe, while over in the west the Eagles have been busy.
Jamie Cripps married partner Liv; Nathan Vardy married Maddison Smedts and midfielder Dom Sheed got engaged to partner Brooke Parker.
