The husband of fitness influencer and businesswoman Laura Henshaw has taken her surname in a modern twist on young nuptials.

Dalton Graham, a former fashion influencer turned creative agency founder, changed his name to Dalton Henshaw after they got married on Friday.

Henshaw, who founded the Keep It Cleaner empire with best friend Steph Claire Smith, endorsed the move, as did many of Dalton’s followers on social media after he changed his handle to @DaltHenshaw.

“You can still call me, Dalton, Dalt, Dolphin, whatever you like … I’m still the same me and always will be, just going to sign off one chapter and start another with my beautiful, driven and inspirational wife by my side as, Mr Henshaw,’’ Dalton wrote on social media.

“PS mildly excited to break the shackles of two first names #TheHenshaws.”

The happy couple posted pictures of their wedding over the weekend with the caption “Mr and Mrs Henshaw”.

Some people remarked it was inspiring that Dalton, a former Myer ambassador, took his wife’s name — “More of this! More men like you — less ego, full love.”

After several postponements due to Covid the couple, who have almost 350,000 Instagram followers between them, had their dream day at Levantine Hill.

“All the emotions, number 4 is our lucky number after all’,’’ wrote Laura who wore a gown by Kyha Studios.
