TERESA Palmer has been left shaken after an incident during filming of Ride Like A Girl in Melbourne.
Palmer, who is starring as champion jockey Michelle Payne, was riding her horse at Flemington on Monday when it suddenly bolted.
The producers confirmed the incident to the Herald Sun.

“There was an incident on set at Flemington Racecourse on Monday,’’ a statement read.
“A horse that Teresa Palmer was riding bolted.
“Teresa had considerable horse riding training before commencing filming and, due to her skill, she rode the horse brilliantly until it slowed down.
“When the horse had slowed, Teresa made the correct decision to jump from it, in case it was spooked again.
“She was shaken but not hurt. Teresa is back riding on set again and doing amazing work as Michelle Payne.”

Earlier this week Palmer was pictured atop a thoroughbred and dressed in the silks Payne made famous when she won the 2015 Melbourne Cup on Prince of Penzance.
The stand-in horse also looked the part, with the champion’s signature white blaze painted on its nose.
Directed by Rachel Griffiths, filming of Ride Like A Girl also starring Sam Neill, Brooke Satchwell and Sullivan Stapleton, has been underway since March.
