Survivor star Sharn Coombes is making a new move and will pursue a career in politics.
The Crown prosecutor and former runner-up, is again in the final three on the brutal reality show and still in the running for the $500,000 title on Survivor: All Stars.
“It’s (politics) always been in the back of my mind since I was quite young,’’ Coombes said.
“I’ve had an interest in law and after my two experiences in Survivor and even with everything going on in the world, it’s like a calling for me.
“I want to move into that space and help everyone. We need good strong leaders and I feel I can offer that to the country.
“I want to see this country be its best and I want people to act with compassion and kindness. I know I’ve got a long way ahead in what I want to achieve, but I’m going to start taking those steps.”
Coombes, whose strategy to take David Genat to final two has raised some eyebrows, said she was happy with her game.
“I said Dave’s the most dangerous player in this game and in the end I thought I’m just going to start working with him,’’ she said.
“I got to a point where it’s better to use him because he’s intelligent and is a strong player in the game. That was my tactic and it worked because I’m in the top three.
“I’m not afraid of sitting next to Mo (Hope) and David and I’ve played really well to get where I am.”
The finale airs on Channel 10 on Monday night.
