Olivia Rogers stepped out in style after confirming she has separated from her partner, Morgan Waterhouse.

Rogers and the model were together for more than six months and have quietly split, but remain friends.

Both were at the races on Melbourne Cup Day but in different marquees.

She had met Waterhouse through her best friend, stylist Paul Versace, and the pair supported each other through their love of running.

She split from her husband, Justin McKeone, in October last year after eight months of marriage and debuted her relationship with Waterhouse in April this year.

Rogers attended the VRC Kennedy Oaks Club Lunch at Crown on Wednesday along with many other glamorous and well-heeled ladies.

Tennis ace Thanasi Kokkinakis charmed the 1200 strong crowd at the traditional Oaks Day lead-in luncheon.

Kokkinakis, who won the Australian Open doubles with close friend Nick Kyrgios last year, spoke on a sporting panel at Crown alongside Matildas star Curtnee Vine, Australian netballer Liz Watson and trainer Annabel Neasham.

“I feel a bit outnumbered here,’’ he said to host Tara Rushton.

“Last year was an insane atmosphere just the way the Aussie public got behind us. It was chaos but just seeing how people rallied it meant a lot. To win with one of my best mates was special.”

When asked who would play him in a movie, he had the crowd in stitches.

“I was pretty upset when I heard this but got told I look like Ross from Friends (David Schwimmer),’’ he said.

“The movie is going to bomb if that’s the case.”

Vine said it was amazing how the country had got behind the Matildas.

“Probably one of my favourite things is the families coming up to me and kids,’’ she said.

“People thanking me and it also united a nation in a way. For me it’s just exploded, which is pretty incredible.”

Other guests included the nieces of the late Princess Diana, Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer along with Melbourne Cup Carnival ambassador fashionista Demi Brereton, VRC ambassador paralympian Emma Booth, Olympian Amanda Ross, Pin & Win ambassadors Olivia Rogers, Lorinska Merrington and Rachel Watts, plus Crystal Kimber-Peters, Mia and Alex Fevola, Eleanor Baillieu and Sarah Czarnuch.

Kate Ceberano and Sneaky Sound System performed at the event with Pin & Win proceeds going to charity partner Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF). Rosie Batty was also a guest speaker.
