Brooke Blurton is moving on with savage words of advice for those who can’t.

The Bachelorette’s ex Darvid Garayeli delivered a blunt assessment that it’s a “strong no” last week when asked if the pair were still friends following their shock split in January.

Speaking ahead of the launch of her new unfiltered podcast, Not So PG, Blurton said: “I know, and I know production know, that I was the most respectful to each and every one of the contestants.

“Post-show, people are making up so much drama and horrible things … everyone should have the liberty and choice over how to live their life.

“I’m not going to be made to feel that I constantly live in that space. I’m a bit more of a realist, I think it shows maturity. I’ve grown up quite quickly, (other) people show their true colours.”

Blurton, still living in Melbourne, is co-hosting the podcast with Matty Mills — an unfiltered version of their worlds and experiences as part of the First Nations and LGBTIQ+ community, while navigating mainstream media.

It will be broadcast from July 5 on Nova.

“When Matty and I first met a year ago we instantly connected,’’ Blurton said.

“It feels like we’ve known each other our whole lives and it’s a protected space to talk about topics we want.

“It’s been on my to-do list since The Bachelorette and it’s an awesome achievement for myself.”

Blurton, the first Indigenous and bisexual Bachelorette, also features on the cover of Women’s Health, out Monday, coinciding with NAIDOC Week.
