Sam Frost has shown off her baby bump for the first time at the star-studded Wog Boys Forever premiere in St Kilda.
The former Home And Away actor, who is engaged to Survivor star partner Jordie Hansen, announced her pregnancy joy two weeks ago.
The couple stepped out at the Palais Theatre in support of comedian Nick Giannopoulos and Frost’s former Home And Away castmate Sarah Roberts who is part of the film’s cast.
Other guests at the VIP event included Heloise Pratt and Jon Stevens, Olympia and Thomas Bellchambers with Ross Wilson and Tania Gogos-Wilson, Joey and Jane Scandizzo, Deni Todorovic, Mark and Silvana Philippoussis, Kylie Gulliver, Nick and Rozalia Russian, Matt Zukowski and Anna McEvoy, director Frank Lotito plus Vince Colosimo and comedians Sooshi Mango who also star in the film.
Giannopoulos hopes people will fall in love with Australian cinema again as he unleashes a new wave of Greek humour with his third Wog Boys movie to be released nationwide next month.
“Australian audiences love Australian movies and it’s getting harder and harder with a lot of massive American films,’’ Giannopoulos said.
“To have nearly 3,000 people at this event shows there’s great support and I hope people will flock back.
“After everything we’ve been through, comedy is the best medicine,” Giannopoulos said.
It was all filmed in Melbourne after he wrote the script during lockdown. It follows the life of main character Steve 20 years after the hit film first premiered.
Wog Boys Forever is in cinemas nationwide from October 6.
