Nathan Buckley’s girlfriend Brodie Ryan vents at ‘disgusting’ thieves

Brodie Ryan — girlfriend of AFL legend Nathan Buckley — has hit out at thieves who “violate people” after cherished items were swiped from her car.

Brodie Ryan said after the break-in: ‘I work hard to buy those things, so I’m angry’.

Brodie Ryan, the partner of footy legend Nathan Buckley, has been left devastated after thieves stole valuables from her car on Sunday night.

Ryan was parked in a street of an upmarket southeast suburb when she noticed expensive and cherished items had been taken.

“So devastating,” she said.

“I’ve got the police on the case and there are cameras all around the area. It’s disappointing as we are 99 per cent confident I won’t get any of it back.”

Some of the items included some high-end briefcases, a new pair of Air Jordans, plus designer shoes and bags.

Ryan, who works as a business manager in women’s health at Epworth, said she felt angry.

“I work hard to buy those things so I’m angry,” she said.

“I was advised that there were two other break-ins around the corner and another three last week one street away.”

“They really hit the jackpot with my car.”

“I feel really silly for leaving anything in my car but I’m angry that people just help themselves to things that are not theirs and violate people and property like that. It’s disgusting.”

Ryan has been dating the former Pies champion and coach and Fox Footy commentator for the past nine months.
