Explosive fight on MKR

ELIMINATED My Kitchen Rules sisters Jess and Emma have revealed they had axed team Sonya and Hadil pegged to win the competition and take home the $250,000 prizemoney.

Jess and Emma, who left the show tonight after being at the bottom of the leaderboard, say they have no ill will towards the pair because they paid “the ultimate price” for their actions.

Sonya and Hadil were dramatically removed from the show last week after a war of words with the sisters which went too far.

“Hadil really wanted to win the money for her kids,” Jess said.

“That upsets me more than anything; they’re talented people who could have taken out the competition. I would have been really surprised if they didn’t take the crown out.

“But the fact they walked away without that opportunity is punishment enough so I hope Australia goes easy on them.”

Emma said the pair had tried to contact them and heard from Hadil, but not Sonya.

“We did reach out purely because we didn’t known where any of (the nasty words) came from and we wanted to see if we could smooth that out before the episode came out,” she said.

“We didn’t want to hold a grudge. Realistically we have nothing to do with these people in real life any way so we preferred to clear the air.”

While the altercation dominated discussion around the show, there was another thing that attracted more commentary than their cooking — their looks.

“I feel sorry for Jess, she got dragged in the undercurrent of my huge lips that I had no freaking control over,” Emma said.

“People don’t understand when I say I had contact dermatitis — I never denied I had my lips done — but they were bigger because of my outbreak.

“And I think Jess got tarred with the same brush.”

But Jess said she “didn’t give a sh*t” about people’s opinions.

“At the end of the day, I got my lips done because I like it and I’m happy with it and my husband thinks I’m beautiful,” she said.

“I honestly don't give a crap what the public think.”

Jess, who is four months pregnant with her second child, said the feedback had been difficult.

“It’s been particularly hard, especially when you have a di**head writing online, ‘you’ve put on a bit of weight Jess’.”
