When Jimmy Bartel debuted his romance with new girlfriend Milly Shepperd on Instagram she would have been unrecognisable to footy fans.

But Ms Shepperd is a well known regular among Melbourne’s social circles.

The executive assistant who was revealed as the former AFL star’s new love via Instagram on Thursday, is friends on social media with many nightclub and social identities such as Nick Russian, Hayden Burbank, Marty John and Darren Male.

Milly Shepperd has been revealed as Jimmy Bartel’s new girlfriend.

Bartel debuted the romance on Instagram.

She also appears to have some high profile friends including footy WAG Jessie Murphy, and has posted pictures at the Portsea Polo and other events around town.

Bartel, 37, shared a photo of himself kissing Amelia, known as Milly, in front of the Sydney skyline.

He captioned the Instagram story with ‘Happy’ and a red love heart emoji, with her name on big, bold display.

Bartel separated from ex-wife and mega influencer and businesswoman Nadia Bartel in 2019 after five years of marriage.

They share two sons, Aston, 5, and Henley, 2, and their divorce was finalised in August.

Bartel was seeing and living with Lauren Mand after the marriage break-up, but she has not been featured on his Instagram timeline in more than a year.

Sources say they split some time ago.
