Mia Fevola has revealed she is the “heaviest, happiest and healthiest” she has ever been.

The influencer shared a stark before and after picture to Instagram, showing her at a low weight in 2017 and a recent snap of her healthy figure.

The 22 year-old has been open about her weight and diet struggles, revealing in June last year that she finally had answers as to why she was feeling unwell.

She was diagnosed with coeliac disease, which explains why she had low iron levels, was tired and couldn’t gain weight.

“I always see so much emphasis on weight loss on social media and not enough on weight gain,” Fevola wrote on Monday.

“So many people associate weight loss with happiness, and I just wanted to say that I am the heaviest, happiest and healthiest I have ever been! For those who need to hear it!”

Fevola, daughter of Runway Room founder Alex and former AFL turned radio star Brendan, has also been focusing on fitness.

She used to be bombarded with trolls saying she should just eat something.

“I would have people online and in person telling me to just eat something, when I was eating the same sized meals as my Dad,’’ she said.

“After years of trial and error I think I’m finally starting to figure out what works for me.”

Coeliac disease is an auto-immune disease where the lining of the intestines are damaged from eating gluten.

Fevola urged people to listen to their bodies.

“If you have a gut feeling about something please go get it checked, and if you struggle to put on weight (which many of you have messaged me about this before) this may be the case for you too.

I didn’t have the typical symptoms (and some people gain weight from being coeliac too) so ask to get checked.”
