Mia Fevola has shared some insights into her relationship breakdown with Richmond star Daniel Rioli.
Fevola and the premiership Tiger announced their split in February after two years together, and have since remained friends.
While answering questions from followers on Instagram, the make up artist, model and university student offered advice from personal experience.
“The decision to end is probably the hardest part in my decision,’’ Fevola wrote.
“The fear of not knowing if you’ll regret it, but if you’re genuinely considering this then you know it’s the right thing to do. You might be holding yourself back from flourishing independently.”
When asked how to really deal with a break up, Fevola replied: “The feeling probably won’t ever disappear but you learn to deal with it and time heals everything.”
The 20 year-old also encouraged people to find a hobby and to “cry to your friends but know that the best days of your life haven’t even happened yet.”
Announcing the split in February to her 127,000 followers, Fevola posted: “Daniel and I are no longer together, however we still love and care for each other very much and remain the best of friends.”
Rioli also posted the news: “Hey guys, I know everyone is wondering what’s going on with Mia and myself and I hate to say this but we are no longer together.
“But we both love each other and still remain close as best friends and hopefully you guys can respect that.”
