Married At First Sight star Jo Todd has revealed she’s lost her job of 12 years for refusing to get the Covid vaccine.
Todd said she would be setting up her own space after being let go from a local barber shop in Karingal.
“I’m just jumping on here to reach out to all my regular clients and to the mums with the kids haircuts that I used to do in Karingal,’’ she said on Instagram.
“Just letting you know I won’t be going to be back to that shop anymore.
“I never thought I would lose my job over a vaccine but the positive thing is I’ve set up my own barber space so anyone I used to cut or anyone who isn’t getting the vaccine, please hit me up, message me and I’ll be happy to cut your hair.
“The new rules are you aren’t allowed to go to a barber shop without being vaccinated so I am happy to take the vaccinated or the unvaccinated and still cut your hair. So please send me a message and I look forward to seeing you again.”
Todd tagged her post with hashtag ‘choice’.
Another MAFS contestant Hayley Vernon has also expressed anti-vax views.
She said earlier this week that she’d refuse to have kids with someone who’s been jabbed.
The OnlyFans star, 33, made the statement on her Instagram stories.
“Love me or hate me, this is my page and my opinion on the matter.
“The reason why I ask is because I personally wouldn’t. I will not bring life into this world with someone that had had it.”
Vernon then put out a poll to answer a yes or no: “If you are against it, would you have children with someone that had had it”.
“Not to be argumentative but I’m curious … how can you personally be against it then be happy for a child to be born from someone who has it in their system?
